The wind is whistling through the wires.

Snow!

Yesterday Finch and I walked up through Adams wood. Not much wind, but enough to send leaves down like heavy snow. The ground is building up with layers of colour, and the funghi has decided to take advantage of the clement weather. It is difficult to walk anywhere without stepping on them. They are like icebergs, the fruiting bodies representing a small fraction of the whole fungus, with most of the organism spreading out beneath the ground.
